As humans, life can feel a bit messy for us all at times. We all experience a wide array of emotions on this journey called life, but there are times when we feel more stressed, overwhelmed, or lower in mood than usual and for longer periods of time. This can be difficult to navigate through by yourself, so you may feel talking therapy could be helpful to help understand and explore what may be going on and to help you move forward. Building awareness of our behaviours and thought processes isn’t always easy and is often avoided, but with support and compassion, I can sit with you through it.

I can support you to break unhelpful cycles you may find yourself in or change certain behaviours which aren’t benefitting you. We can sit together and face difficult emotions by stepping back from your thoughts and understanding them rather than feeling consumed by them.

I provide a person-centred approach in a safe & confidential space (online or face to face). I believe, you are the expert in your own life, following your lead to explore together what is going on for you at your pace. We will work together to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotions, building up simple yet effective and sustainable tools to help you navigate through life and feel more connected to yourself and others beyond therapy.

 Each of us is unique, therefore I offer an individualised approach for each client. Having worked in mental health for over 9 years and I can work creatively in a way that suits your communication style. I have a strong passion for building mindfulness into our daily routines leading to a deeper connection to yourself and others, and promoting meaning, self-acceptance and emotional awareness, to help you build a balanced lifestyle

I have experience in the following areas: eating disorders, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, psychoeducation, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, sexuality, gender, cultural issues, identity, and group work.
