“The kind of caring that the client-centred therapist desires to achieve is a gullible caring, in which clients are accepted as they say they are, not with a lurking suspicion in the therapist's mind that they may, in fact, be otherwise. This attitude is not stupidity on the therapist's part; it is the kind of attitude that is most likely to lead to trust...” ― Carl R. Rogers

Supervision

Individual supervision

We offer ethical and confidential clinical supervision to both trainee counsellors and qualified counsellors in a safe and professional environment.

Supervision is an important element of a counsellors ethical practice and as such we aim to offer a high standard of clinical supervision to meet individual needs. We understand that all counsellors work with an individual approach and that clients present unique issues and difficulties. Trainee supervisees are supported with both client work and course work, focusing on client factors, counsellor factors, difference and diversity in the therapy room, and possible parallel process. Through discussions we will identify criteria and apply theory to practice.

Monthly Supervision fees: (1.5 hours)

Qualified counsellors: £60

Trainee counsellors: £50 (Trainees can request 45 minutes fortnightly to ensure regular contact with their supervisor)

Group supervision:

Although your supervision will be scheduled, your supervisor will be contactable between sessions should you need their urgent support.

Please contact us for more information about our supervision service or to discuss your supervision needs.
