Fay Tonks

Life can be amazing, but it can also come with its own set of challenges. Especially with everything going on in the world at the moment. It's quite understandable to feel overwhelmed with many different emotions. Whatever our reason for going to counselling it's about having someone to listen, to our fears, anxieties, losses, our hopes, and joys.

I offer a warm, safe, and confidential space for you to explore these difficulties at your own pace and support you in gaining a deeper understanding and connection to yourself. I work in a person-centred way and the focus is on your concerns and the way that you would like to work around those. I also like to incorporate a more creative way to support you through your journey and be able to allow you to communicate through different ways if what you are exploring is difficult to put into words.

I have experience of supporting many individuals, this includes working with domestic violence, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, LGBTQ and pregnancy and birth. I work with young people and adults.
